Session #1: FBA - What Barcodes Do You Need?

For Amazon Sellers selling through the Amazon FBA warehouse, there are universal backend barcodes for systems (EAN/UPC) and there is the frontend barcode you want to use on your product the Amazon FNSKU.

For Amazon FBA you will need to purchase a backend Universal Barcode UPC/EAN.

Build your backend Barcode into the Product ID of your product listing & do not apply these to your physical product.

Once your product listing & shipment plan is complete Amazon will generate and a Product FNSKU Barcode which can be applied physically to your product.

Never enter temporary/placeholder information or images in your listing to skip to the barcode stage.

Choosing who will apply you barcode to your product is a business decision (Supplier, Prep Company, Yourself or Amazon). Our coaches often use a Sourcing/Prep Company like Leeline Sourcing who are highly familiar with Amazons requirements.
